I’m so grateful for Sunnyside KinderCare My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and is excited to learn new things every day. I really appreciate the thoughtful curriculum and daily updates they share and the individual attention she’s received, especially while transitioning from another daycare and during her potty training journey. The teachers nurture her curiosity—especially with reading—and create such a positive, supportive environment. One of my favorite things this past summer was the daily themed activities. Every. Single. Day. From meeting local police officers and firefighters to pony rides, a visit from Spiderman, and so many other creative themes, it made drop-off a joy because there was always something special to look forward to. It’s clear how much care and planning went into making summer so fun and engaging, and it made my life so much easier knowing my daughter was not only cared for but also having an amazing time. There is also a supportive, kind culture between the teachers and staff that can be felt. This location also has fun options for classes such as, Tippi Toes, Soccer Shots, and even a new cooking class! We wish we could do them all but appreciate the coordination to bring in extra curricular options. I can’t recommend Sunnyside KinderCare enough!

Sunnyside KinderCare in Happy Valley has two of the best teachers in the early childhood community. Their names are Ms. Brenda and Ms. Rachel. I am so thankful to have them as members of my education and parenting village for my four-year-old daughter. Leaving my daughter at a school all day made me very scared and anxious. I wasn't sure if they would be able to lover her as much as I do, educate her like I expect them to, feed her the foods I want her to have, soothe her during nap time when there is thunder outside. But when I first met them I knew. We are having such a wonderful experience with our Prekindergarten Classroom and the before and after program care. My daughter is learning so much. She is reading at 4 and looks for opportunities daily to use her Spanish words in conversation. Each day when I pick her up she is happy and engaged with her friends, teachers, or an activity. In fact often times when I go to pick her up she is not ready to go home! I also read to my daughter daily about what her daily sheet says. It is great to see that what I am reading is actually what is going on in the classroom. I am so confident that she will be ready for the private kindergarten program at KinderCare next fall. The care and education my precious daughter receives in the care of Ms. Brenda and Ms. Rachel is priceless. I am very grateful for the commitment they have made to educating and nurturing children.
