**Lead Teacher**

At Hour Time Hourly Childcare, our Lead Teachers do more than supervise a classroom—they create a safe, consistent, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for the daily operation of their classroom, including maintaining licensing compliance, implementing developmentally appropriate activities, supervising children, and building positive relationships with families. Lead Teachers work closely with the Director and other staff to ensure each child receives quality care and each family receives excellent service.

Successful candidates are dependable, organized, emotionally mature, and able to lead by example. They understand that children learn best through relationships, consistency, and play. They are comfortable giving direction to assistant teachers, maintaining classroom routines, documenting children's progress, and communicating professionally with parents.
