Job Description

Job Requirements: Daycare Teacher
Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting preferred

Familiarity with age-appropriate developmental milestones and learning activities

Certifications:

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain before start date)

Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting, as required by state regulations

Skills and Attributes:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor

Ability to manage classroom behavior and routines

Strong organizational and time management skills

Team-oriented with a professional attitude

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 40 lbs, and actively participate in play and learning activities

Capable of being on your feet for extended periods and engaging with children both indoors and outdoors

Other:

Must meet all local and state licensing requirements for child care employees

Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required
