Description
At Balanced Family Academy, we provide a well-rounded educational experience for toddlers through our Full Circle Curriculum, which introduces a new thematic focus each month. Our daily routine includes immersive storytime sessions, engaging group activities, and creative arts projects, all designed to foster cognitive and motor skill development. When your child is ready to transition out of diapers, our experienced staff will guide and support this important milestone, ensuring a seamless process. At this stage, children begin to interact more with their peers and the world around them. In these rooms we introduce circle time and learning activities where we encourage children to sing along to songs, interact with different art mediums, and learn their first words! In these classrooms, children will be encouraged to express their independence by washing their own hands, feeding themselves, using utensils, and choosing their own activities during center time. Toddlers have the opportunity to explore new and exciting concepts through sensory activities, creative arts, games, and various group activities. The toddler rooms explore in multiple settings throughout the day including their classrooms, multipurpose room, and outdoor play areas. The toddlers also love to participate in the weekly Jump Bunch and Music classes.

Description
Balanced Family Academy Preschool + PreK is thoughtfully designed to empower children with confidence and knowledge, giving them a head start in their educational journey. Our program not only fosters strong social skills but also delivers a comprehensive curriculum to ensure their readiness for the transition to elementary school. A huge focus in these classrooms is building confidence and independence through successful learning experiences and leadership roles. Our small ratios allow for plenty of individualized attention to make sure all children have the guidance they need to be prepared for Kindergarten. In addition, preschoolers also have the opportunity to participate in extracurriculars such as Music, Yoga, and Jump Bunch on a weekly basis. Once children reach the Preschool/Pre-K room, the themes may change on a weekly basis. The daily activities are similar to the toddler rooms although math, science, and writing are added into the curriculum. Children have the opportunity to explore in learning centers and a variety of table activities, which change to correlate with the theme of the week.

Description
After-school programs are an extension of the traditional elementary school day, with a large emphases on interactive and social experiences. Each day the students will have the opportunity to participate in a themed group activity, play outdoors, eat afternoon snack with friends, and finish up any school work assignments assigned by their primary teacher. On days the school districts are closed, but our academies are open, there may be the opportunity to attend a local adventure with our school-age teachers. With safety as a top priority, and child enrolled in our after-school programs participate in annual bus safety lessons with our staff.
